Indie Game Engine

New forums and documentation

by Tony Richards on May.28, 2010, under News and Updates

It’s been a while since our first “Hello World” post… as we get closer to a publicly available release we’ll start posting updates more frequently.

Development on the Indie Game Engine is progressing nicely.

This month we’ve released the full binary suite and starter scripts to our early adopters and alpha testers using our new installation and patch / upgrade system.

Testing is going smoothly with only a few feature gaps needing to be filled, and very few bugs being uncovered.

Community Forums

We’re hosting our community forums on the IndieZen.org website.

Register for a forum account if you haven’t already… it’s free!

The first 200 registrations will automatically be given early beta access and discounted licenses, but hurry… there are only a few slots left.

Documentation

Top on our list of priorities is the Indie Game Engine documentation, reference guide and tutorials.

If you want a sneak peak, head on over to the Indie Developer Network website.
